The Global Martial Arts University, a division of Hodgy LLC, requires that all students read and agree to
the following terms of use, subscription, copyright statements, statement of limited liability, and
warnings. The Global Martial Arts University may also be referred to as: GMAU.
We invite our subscribers (students) to enjoy all the features this site has to offer. We require that each
subscriber (student) follow and abide to our terms of use for the best and highest good of all. A failure
to abide by these rules can result in immediate termination of access to this site, without a stated
refund or recourse.
Terms of Use
1. Do not share your account credentials (email and password) with anyone. A student
membership is for one individual. Our system will detect multiple logon attempts, and will put
you at risk of having your account terminated.
2. Do not reprint, republish, repost, or otherwise distribute or transmit content presented on this
site. Unauthorized use of or copying of our content, trademarks, and other proprietary material
can subject you to civil or even criminal liability. We ask that you do not violate our copyright.
3. You agree to be made finable via our geographic Student Locator, and receive communications
from other subscribed students to the site. Any meetings, training sessions, or practice with
other Global Martial Arts University students are in no way related or managed by the site. The
Global Martial Arts University disclaims all liability from any in-person meetings that you might
setup on your own, through using the site’s Messaging and Student Locator features.
4. No advertising, trading of goods or services, or other commercial use is allowed in the
membership section of the website, whether through person to person communication or on a
public forum.
5. Please use your own name when posting to the discussion forums. Do not impersonate anyone
else.
6. Treat other students with respect when posting messages to public forums and discussion
pages. Abuse, name-calling, or maliciousness is not allowed.
7. Do not use vulgarity, obscenity, profanity, ethnic slurs, hate speech, or sexually explicit language
in any written, verbal, or video communications. Do not harass or threaten other students in
the forums, discussion pages, and person-to-person messages to other students or with your
instructor. No libeling or defamation is allowed.
8. When you post content in the student forums, discussion boards, or other public avenues on the
site, you permit this site to display and distribute the content, and to use it for advertising and
promotion. You grant to this site the complete, perpetual, but non-exclusive right to use,
reproduce, modify, adapt, translate, distribute, sub-license, etc. the content in whole or in part,
throughout the world and universe, on a royalty-free basis.
We reserve the right to edit or remove any postings in public student forums or discussion
boards. The person posting a message is solely responsible for it, not this site. Violators may be
permanently banned from using the forums, or even have their student memberships
terminated.
Subscription
A fixed-term subscription consists of “monthly tuition”, “quarterly tuition”, or “annual tuition”. The term
of your subscription is set and may be modified to a different frequency, or cancelled by following our
cancellation process. You shall enjoy the use of the Global Martial Arts University for the duration of the
term. GMAU reserves the right to increase your monthly dues with a prior written notice. At the end of
the term, your subscription will be automatically renewed for a further term of equal duration to the
initial fixed-term and will be successively renewed in such manner, until you have given GMAU proper
notice of cancellation.
Your subscription will be charged and billed in U.S. dollars.
Monthly automatic payments will be made on the same day every month from the original start date
onwards. Quarterly automatic payments will be made every three months, from the original start date.
Annual automatic payments will be made every twelve months, from the original start date. If you fail to
pay your student tuition on the due date, the Global Martial Arts University reserves the right to remove
your access to the GMAU site until the outstanding payment is received.
Another payment option is the Lifetime Membership. A lifetime membership lasts for the duration of 100 years, starting on the original date the payment is made. A lifetime membership is applicable while the Global Martial Arts University is in operation. If the business ceases to exist, your lifetime membership is no longer valid, and is not useable. There will be no refunds given on Lifetime or VIP Lifetime memberships.
Intellectual Property
You agree that the Global Martial Arts University, including but not limited to GMAU content, products,
graphics, user interface, audio clips, video clips, editorial content, and the scripts and software used to
implement the GMAU, contains proprietary information and material that is owned by Global Martial
Arts University, and is protected by applicable intellectual property and other laws, including but not
limited to copyright. No portion of the GMAU content may be reproduced in any form or by any means,
except as expressly permitted in these terms. You agree not to modify, rent, lease, loan, sell, distribute,
or create derivative works based on the GMAU in any manner, and you shall not exploit the GMAU in
any unauthorized way whatsoever.
Copyright and Trademark Law
All content and graphics on this site are protected by U.S. copyright and international treaties and may
not be copied or re-used without the express written permission of this site, which reserves all rights .
Limitation of Liability
All information provided by Ultimate Training, Global Martial Arts University, and Hodgy LLC is of a
general nature and is furnished for educational/entertainment purposes only. No information is to be
taken as medical or other health advice pertaining to an individual’s specific health or medical condition.
